The Distillery

Listoke Distillery is family owned and operated in the sleepy village of Tenure, in the heart of the Boyne Valley. Based in the heart of Ireland’s Ancient East, an enchanting area which is steeped in the history and tradition of distillation, they use a combination of their local and familial traditions along with the latest technology, to perfect their spirits.

Listoke distillery began with Listoke 1777 Gin, with the rise in popularity the need for a larger facility became apparent. Listoke did not want to just produce premium gin, they also wanted to provide educational opportunities. Out of this need and desire Listoke Gin House was created with Ireland’s largest gin still along with the first Gin school.

Listoke Distillery has been given “Origin Green” status. The company has ensured that all production methods and all products used therein are as green and sustainable as is available.

While gin has been their first love, in recent years they have begun producing premium whiskey that will be entering the US market in 2022.

The Gin School

Listoke Gin school was founded by husband-and-wife team Bronagh Conlon and Sean MacDhuibhinse. After 30 years as a consultant in the food and drinks industry Bronagh saw an opening in the market for a craft gin distillery and gin school.

The classes are a fantastic 3-hour experience where one tours their distillery, learns about their processes, and distils your own bottle of gin in individual copper stills. You choose from a range of over 50 botanicals to make your own unique recipe and enjoy plenty of G&Ts throughout! They also serve local foods to keep energy levels up.
